EDIT: Added more do's/don'ts. Added bold PayPal info.
EDIT 6/20: Added Pictured Examples to each type of commission.

These guidelines go for all of my accounts. If you want me to draw something too mature for DA, or something that's not even mature at all, that's completely fine and your commission will not have any special bias.

Picture: $45-70. Your commission will fall inside this range. $45 is the base and what can make it go up are many factors:

  • A basic pose for one character. As long as it is not too complicated, this will not make the price change at all, promise. It doesn't have to be a boring stand up straight pose either, but as long as it's one character, $45 should be the price
  • .
  • 2 Characters. $50-55. Also depends on complexity.
  •
  • 3-4 Characters. $60-75. Won't exceed 4 characters. Complexity...

  • Character Outfit Swaps/Nude Version. $60+ One character only. Price is due to me not simply drawing on clothes but that I'm actually making a completely separate pic.

  • Comic page. $60-75. Depends on panel number. Try to stay 4 panels or less. See below guidelines for making sure your comic page doesn't get denied.

My PayPal Email is uvray2012@yahoo.com. Don't pay if you ever have concerns about the sketch I've provided before payment. I have no issue going back and revising it until you're ready to pay for it.

Note me on this account or email me at uvray2012@yahoo.com. I check both daily and will see your request.

I don't sell linearts, sketches, flat colors, etc. I hate starting something without finishing it, so these partially done pic choices will not be available. If you just want lineart for a commission however, I can give it to you, but the commission won't be any cheaper than a full-colored pic. Because I'm going to fully color it anyways.

If you've never gotten a commission, here are some guidelines:

  • I'm not selling full comics or even ongoing comics right now. I really don't like doing comics, but a one off comic page is fine with me.
  • These are for money, no points. Already got a premium DA account so no need for them. Have a Paypal account, and if you don't have one, they're easy to open if you have a bank account.
  • Obviously, I simply might not like your idea lol. Sorry, but I'm not pressed for money right now to the point where I won't turn down an idea.
  • I prefer stuff like OC's done in my style. I've done sooo many characters that it's likely that people will be asking me to draw someone I've done over and over. OC's (that I'm interested in) usually get preference over "Draw ______ from the show ____"
  • Important. I'm not "on the clock" until I've shown you a sketch and told you a price. I get many commission requests so I'm likely to just read your request and screenshot it rather than respond right away. I see every one though, and when/if I decide to work on it I'll sketch it and show it to you via the same method you contacted me. So don't contact me over and over asking did I see it lol, yes I did.
  • Also important. Due to many cases of not being paid for work in the past, I don't start lineart until payment. However, I don't want you paying without anything to go off, so I will show you a sketch always. Do NOT pay me until the sketch meets your approval. I'll try to make it as detailed as the finished lineart would be. If something's wrong, tell me and I'l' fix the sketch over n over until you feel ready to pay.
  • Keep in mind, it is only a sketch though. I might not draw... freckles, super detailed hair, etc. And I'm not gonna color the sketch unless it's really hard to make out.
  • I will not make major changes post completion. Small mistakes on my part, sure. But "I decided I wanted her hair in a ponytail" is an issue you should've decided during the sketching. Hence the importance of the sketch.
  • Give a good request. One that's clear and detailed, but not overly complicated. "Draw my OC being cool".... What. What kinda pose, big boobs? What OC?! Lol, or "Draw my OC from behind so we can see her butt. Also, make her play with her bellybutton ring. And show her looking up at the camera, while we can see under her skirt!" Contradictory angles and poses. Something's gotta go.
  • REFS. If you want a specific pose, boobs/butt size, design, or a character you think I'm unfamiliar with (OC's of course fit in this description), then have reference pics ready!

Finally, The Will Do/Won't Do List:

  • Well it's mostly won't do....... ummm......... I can't think of anything. Comment on this journal if you want to know about something. BUT, If you've seen me draw something before, no matter how long ago, take that as a hint that I'm ok with that.
  • I have limits on sizes of female or male parts. Once again, refer to my gallery. If you've never seen me go to that size it's likely not going to be something I'm onboard with.
  • As an artist, I give my own interpretation on everything I draw. I'm going to draw your OC's in my style, I'm going to draw characters from series in my style. Don't come to me expecting a Sakura pic drawn like I was Kishimoto lol. I might make her hair pinker, I might give her fuller lips, etc. Know my style beforehand.
  • Lastly, if you want specific details, be specific in asking. Anything not stated will be left in my hands. That means outfit, pose, body types, setting, or dialogue. You don't have to choose any of these yourself, I'm great at improvising them. But if you want control over any of these features, make your voice heard. You also have the option of asking for your commission to not be posted online.
